The grating disc enables you to select either a fine or coarse cut - ideal for grating raw vegetables, chocolate, mature cheeses, walnuts, almonds and other nuts without shells. For slicing, simply select the disc designed for this purpose - it features a blade adjustment system, for slice thicknesses of up to 6 mm. The food processor's discs are made from stainless steel, and the plastic components, like the measuring jug and cover, are crafted from TritanTM, a high quality plastic that can be washed in the dishwasher without affecting the shine and transparency of the material.
