The new Reserve Collection marks the first time te Pa has expanded into the ultra-premium New Zealand wine category. / In terms of winemaking the Reserve wines are made as ‘hands off’ as possible, the aim being to create wines which express their unique sense of place. Bennett says, “These are wines that are pure and authentic expressions of where and how they are grown. Of course, being expressive is only one part of the equation; these wines also have to be delicious and they will only be produced from sites and in seasons where we consider the fruit quality to be exceptional.” / Pungent aromatics of citrus, nectarine and florals with nettle and fennel notes adding intrigue and complexity. The palate is crisp and textural with impressions of stone fruit, lime, and wet rock. This wine possesses classic Awatere minerality, concentrated fruit, and a long crisp refreshing finish.
