Delivery

When you complete an order online, we know that you would like your order delivered safely, as soon as possible. That's why all packages are delivered by New Zealand Couriers and CourierPost, and are trackable for your peace of mind. We also offer a complimentary 'signature required' service - simply request this when you place your order. 


For fragrance and other flammable items, delivery to the North Island may take two to three days longer, as these items will need to be freighted by road. Currently, we are unable to offer delivery on weekends or public holidays.

Special Delivery

Gift hampers are delivered at a slightly different price. If a hamper is less than $150:

First and second hampers (to the same address) $13 each
Third and additional hampers (to the same address) $8 each

 

Any individual hamper greater than $150 is delivered free of charge using standard freight delivery.

Express delivery is available at an additional cost.

 

Large Freight Items

Items noted as 'Large Freight Items' will require specialised freight pricing - please contact our Customer Service team directly for a delivery quote prior to your purchase.

 

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you love each and every purchase, but know that sometimes when you shop online or buy items from a catalogue, you may have a change of mind by the time the parcel arrives at your door.

No problem - that's where our 'change of mind policy' comes in. To offer you peace of mind when ordering online, and to ensure that you are completely happy with your Ballantynes shopping experience, you are welcome to return your item for an exchange - our Customer Service team will be able to help with suggesting alternative items - or we are happy to arrange a refund if you prefer.

If you are exchanging an item or have received a product that is faulty or incorrect, you will not be charged delivery on your reorder.

 

Refunds and Exchange Exclusions

Unfortunately we cannot accept any of the following items for return unless they have been received in an unsatisfactory condition by you.

  • Any Sale or Online Outlet items
  • Any product(s) purchased from the Pantry (including hampers)
  • Any packaged item that has been opened including, but not limited to, any cosmetics item
  • Any alcohol or related items
  • Shoes without boxes
  • Any food item(s)
  • Any item of clothing or footwear that has been worn
  • Any item of clothing that has had its tags removed
  • Custom made or altered fashion
  • Customer orders for product outside our standard range
  • Pillows
  • Pierced jewellery
  • Any Gift Card or Voucher

For all returns, please:

  • Complete the return within 30 days of purchase
  • Ensure that the item is in its original, unused condition
  • Provide 'proof of purchase' which may be an order receipt, an in-store sales receipt, or a gift exchange card to help us process your return faster.

  • By Courier - simply re-use the original packaging and attach the pre-printed label included with your order or send to:

All prices on the website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and inclusive of GST (Good and Services Tax) of 15%.
