In celebration of 150 years since Arthur Liberty opened his London emporium, this anniversary collection transports us into a world of theatrical magic.

Liberty’s influential cast of designers and muses has heralded many of history’s artistic movements. From the sculptural style of Art Nouveau to the ditsy florals of the 1930s, we journey through abstract expressionism of the 1950s into the swinging ‘60s and on to today’s innovations.

With a retrospective lens, we peer into the future with digital imaginings, celebrating classics in contemporary guises and challenging the boundaries between art and technology.

Created in collaboration with artist, producer and musician Tom Furse, this rhythmic and constantly evolving pattern highlights the wonders of generative AI. Reminiscent of bubbling waves or unfurling petals moving in a dreamlike, continuous flow, Efflorescence is an entrancing spectacle of fluid dynamics.
